CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

During the ConsEuro SEOC Congress 2025, scientists and researchers throughout Europe will have the opportunity to present, discuss and critique their investigation. If you are involved in dental research, we urge you to submit an abstract for consideration for an oral or a poster presentation. Abstract submission if free of charge.

Online abstract submission system will be available and open until midnight 00:00 (CET) on 28 January 2025.

Abstracts will be sent to the Scientific Committee Members for a blind evaluation process. Authors will receive confirmation of acceptance of their works by until midnight 00:00 (CET) on 19 February 2025.

  • Abstract texts (without title, authors and affiliations but with acknowledgements) must not exceed 300 words including spaces. Diagrams, figures and tables are not allowed in the abstract. No bibliographic references or abbreviations should appear in the abstract.
  • The font type will be Times New Roman size 10.
  • Abstract title must be informative and maximum 130 characters including spaces. Title should be in bold, and the font type will be Times New Roman size 11.
  • Name, surname, title, institution, city, country and contact details of the authors shall be stated clearly. Only one institution can be listed for each communication. The email of the corresponding author should be added after the institution. The authors’ names will appear in ITALICS, with the last names first (without hyphens), followed by the initial(s) of the first name, with the authors separated only by commas. They must be correctly written to avoid wrong indexing.
  • The name of the presenting author will appear first and must be the "author 1" in the system and underlined in the abstract.
  • Abstract body shall not include any indication about the authors and their personal details.
  • The presenter should choose if the abstract is for oral or poster presentation and select the category at the beginning of the submission.
  • The presenter should select to apply to any of the awards and by doing so is accepting the appropriate details and conditions.

The text of the abstract should be arranged as per the format below and each section must begin with the section heading printed in bold as follows:

FOR RESEARCH ABSTRACTS:

Aim: Clearly state the aim and hypotheses of your research.

Materials and Methods: Please describe methodology so that readers understand your approach. In experimental studies please mention number of specimens/participants/study groups.

Results: Present data and statistical analysis with concrete numbers such as means and standard deviations. Avoid vague statements as abstracts with vague presentation of data will be rejected.

Conclusion: Must be based on the described results and should be explicit.

Please acknowledge all sources of funding at the end of the abstract.

FOR CASE REPORTS:

Introduction: Please describe the baseline situation (diagnosis), the indication and the aim of the treatment.

Case report: Please describe the treatment, the used materials and methods, as well as the clinical outcomes.

Conclusions: Must be based on the clinical case outcomes.

Please acknowledge all sources of funding at the end of the abstract.
