Welcoming the people on the teachers meeting ‘ Deep Margin elevation’, what is it and is it needed in the curriculum? 

o   DME: what is this technique

o   What is the evidence from the literature? 

o   clinical considerations for subgingival adhesive restorations

11:00-11:30 break  

11:30-12:30: workgroup discussions. Workgroups will be presented with specific statements that they should discuss: -

       DME should be trained to undergraduate students clinically/preclinically

       DME should only be used for indirect subgingival non retentive restorations

       DME is a better alternative for crowns 

      Direct class II composite restorations with margins in dentin/subgingivally are contraindicated

       Rubberdam is mandatory for all adhesive restorations
